Creating and Sending Clips

This article explains how to create highlights/clips from the coded stats. It assumes that the match has been created and the video has been uploaded.

Note:

  • If you do not know how to upload games or view the analysis window for a match, click here

  • If you don't know how to make groups for players, click here

Step 1: Navigate to the Analysis Window for the Match

From the dashboard, select 'Matches' -> the match you wish to look at -> 'Analysis' in the top right.

For a more detailed explanation, Click here.

Step 2: Initiate Clip Selection and Filter Stats

In the top right hand corner, click on 'Select Clips.' You can then go ahead and filter for the desired statistics using the search bar or the 'Sort by' drop down. See the image below for more detail.

If you want to look at a particular player, you can filter by their jersey number (or name if the teamsheet has been updated). If you want to filter by Team Comments, as done so in the photo below, you can input 'TC' into the search bar.

Initiate Clips Selection

Step 3: Select the Clips You Want and Create the Folder

Go through the filtered timeline and tick the box of any statistical instances you wish to compile into a clips folder. In this example, we have selected all of the Around the Ground Team Comments to highlight moments of poor balance or setup. This will then be sent to our midfielders for review.

Once you are done, select 'Create Clips.'

Select Clips and Create

Step 4: Fill in the Details and Send

After clicking 'Create Clips,' a pop-up window will ask for some details and who you wish to assign the clips too. If you want everyone to see the clips, assign it to no one. Please view the image below as an example showing the clips being sent to the midfielders.

Enter details and send

Step 5: Viewing the Clips

To see the clip folder you have now created, go back to the dashboard and then select the 'Clips' tab in the top bar.

Note

Players can view the clips assigned to them on Marker through this same process.

Navigate to Clips

Once on the clips tab, select the folder created and view the clips.
